The breaking point was when he said:

Anyhow, she's asking for a divorce now,
and he became even uglier, nastier, lashing out at her and her family, asking them to give back every fils he spent on her!!

والاستفهام للتوبيخ وللإنكار في قوله: (وكيف تأخذونه) أي بأي وجه (وقد أفضى) وصل (بعضكم إلى بعض) بالجماع المقرر للمهر (وأخذن منكم ميثاقا) عهدا (غليظا) شديدا وهو ما أمر الله به من إمساكهن بمعروف أو تسريحهن بإحسان

During the melcha, there were some warning signs, but she was too happy to notice them:

Now I know how horribly it could have all gone wrong.

She is a delicate flower, the apple of her parent's eye, a ray of sunshine who is loved by all who knew her.

She was sick at an early age, but with a couple of surgeries, and long therapy, she is the vision of health today. Yet, she still holds a tender place in the hearts of her family for what she went through.

Her family doesn't own much, But the love they lavished on her was priceless. These people are geniune, kind and caring. That's why they wanted to make sure that the guy who asked for her hand in marriage is more than suitable for their princess.

They asked about him, probed here and there, and asked some more. And the feed back was nothing short of raving reviews.


And to top it all, he was said to be filthy rich!


So naturally, they said yes.

The girl got to know him and fell hard for him. During the engagement days she was walking on clouds. Everything was so perfect and all who knew her couldn't be happier for her.

CRASHING @ Ye7lamoon (2)

I had a major accident once. O mn ra7mat rabbi 3alay enkitab le 3omor yideed.

It is absolutely horrific how in one minute you are driving and humming to a song, and the next minute while the song is still playing, you are laying flat on the street.

I wrote about it a long time ago, but got distracted and never got to finish it, so here goes:

I remember reaching the hospital and being carried inside. Doctor and nurses came to check my vital signs and by then I could slowly open my eyes. I looked around but my heart hurt and my vision was foggy.

I want to see them, the men who rescued me..
I want to see him, the guy who sat at the back seat with me ..

The doctor ordered a full body scan. The nurse wheeled me to the X-ray room and started helping me un-dress. But suddenly my heart sank as I remembered something and with burning cheeks I politely asked her to wait outside and I would get into the hospital gown all by myself. I wasn't shy or anything, infact I was glad for her help as my body was so sour I can barely lift a finger. The thing is I remembered I wasn't wearing matching undies.

The X-ray took a long time, and when i was done and they wheeled me out, mom and dad were already waiting for me. I can never forget Mom's anxious face, and dad's face crinkled in worry. I felt so bad putting them through this. X was away on a business trip,

No sign of the guys- my heroes.
I was half disapponted for i really wanted to thank them, and honestly half glad because 7addy meftashla menhom.

I later learned by hospital staff that when they brought me over, they had patiently waited outside until my parnets reached the hospital, then they quietly disappeared.

Anyhoo, be fathl Allah I was ok. Bruises all over my body but nothing major wel7amdlellah. All I lost was my car which was damaged beyond repair. And a couple of shreds of diginity whenever I remember this story.

And that's the end of that!
