This is me dropping a note to say that I am away at the moment, travelling to where the sun shyly plays hide and seek, where the clouds form the most amazing shapes, where the cool breeze washes your soul, and when it's night time, you look up to the twinkling sky to see the most brightest crescent moon, announcing the month of Sha3ban ..

Dilemma: Ramadan; In Kuwait, or abroad?
X wants to spend the first week of Ramadan out of Kuwait. And although I find it the perfect excuse not to attend the tiring social obligations and formal reception, I can't spend Ramadan away from my family, can I ?!.. And what about the spiritual aspect??.. I need to spend this holy time at home, listening to athaan from my familiar mosque, not in a strange country..
Oh and I just remembered, all this tiring social obligations and formal receptions... I can't escape those,, I already bought many gorgeous darra3as, and beautiful sets of sherwals,.... I need to go back and wear them!!

2 days will be spent abroad and the rest in kuwait enshallah :D
Definitely home.. I wouldnt even consider it abroad.. I hated it when I used to be out of the country during Ramadan!

I never experienced ramadan abroad.. It's always been at home but I guess it won't hurt for a week aham shay il3ashr il2awa5r are at home

i've fasted more months abroad than i have at home! Its not that hard, esp if your just on vacation and not working/studying etc.

When you try it in Kuwait you will find it to have a whole different experience that you wouldn't think to spend it anywhere else again :)
